Our SIS Renewal team is looking for a Data Quality Lead who will be responsible for ensuring accurate data as we move into the new student information system and continuing to support the system once implemented. As a vital member of the SIS Core project organization, this position will be responsible for completing hands-on functional and technical project activities to support the implementation of the Campus Solutions. Working alongside our implementation partner, as well as BU module leads and Subject Matter experts, the Data Quality Lead performs the following functions in support of the project efforts: data analysis to support conversion, reporting and system configuration; alignment across academic operation functions; and participation in SIS data governance processes. The Data Quality Lead will work very closely with both technical and functional team members across BU and Deloitte, and across SIS Renewal projects including: SIS Core, Reporting and IAM. After implementation, this position will move to Enrollment and Student Administration to supporting operations. This is a hybrid position.

    Position responsibilities: Lead efforts to identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems. Evaluate large dataset for quality and accuracy. Determine business impact level for data quality issue. Work with technical team members to correct data quality errors Determine root cause for data quality errors and make recommendations for long-term solutions. Consult and advise on other implementation project workstreams, including, but not limited to: Integration, Reporting, Change Management, Business Architecture, and Data Governance. Responsible for monitoring and managing Duplicate ID resolution. Establish processes to support ongoing data quality post-implementation. Incorporate processes into the post-production service operations planning. Work with the other leads in the other functional areas (Admissions, Student Record, Student Financials, Academic Advising, Financial Aid) to ensure cross-functional synergies throughout the project activities.
