RESEARCH ASSISTANT,SPH School of Public Health, Community Health Sciences
Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and Project Manager, the Research Assistant (RA) will provide support to intervention and evaluation activities for a large multi-site community-based randomized controlled trial. This NIH-funded study will test a youth empowerment intervention targeting sugary drink intake and childhood obesity risk across ten Boys and Girls Clubs throughout the Commonwealth. The RA will be responsible for scheduling, tracking, and data collection from study participants, participant recruitment and follow-up assessments, assist with data management and intervention setup activities, and assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks related to daily study operations. As needed, the RA will also assist with preparation of grant proposals including help with literature reviews, synthesis of data, and formatting references in requested formats.
