  • Responsibilities

    The Project Coordinator will be responsible for subject recruitment and data entry for the Boston research site of a low glutamate diet clinical trial in Gulf War veterans. The Project Coordinator will assist with treatment trial meeting planning and coordination. The Project Coordinator will schedule cognitive, neuroimaging, blood draws, medical visits and other follow-up appointments as well as maintain test equipment for this clinical trial. The Coordinator will be in charge of ordering supplies and coordinating subject payments, as well as administering neuropsychological tests, and escorting participants to the PET/MRI and blood draw appointments. The Coordinator will also perform follow-up and retention calls with study participants and will score and key all subject data in the REDCap electronic data capture system. The Project Coordinator will also assist with writing annual reports to the study PIs. The Coordinator will also help plan regular study team meetings, and maintain a record of the meeting minutes. The coordinator will also perform literature searches and assist with compilation of annual reports and manuscripts for publication and update the study website and social media pages.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
    • 1-3 years of experience
