Posting Details Position Information Title Bridge Partnership Videographer Intern - Summer Position Description The Bridge Partnership is committed to fostering and advancing the educational potential of youth with multiple risk factors for dropping out or failing academically. BP is designed to improve the educational prospects of these students by engaging them in an asset based turnaround program with the goal of changing their outlook on school and life. 100 rising 8th graders from Brockton and New Bedford will reside on campus from Sunday, July 8 to Friday, July 20, 2018 and participate in various in classes, field trips and activities. Job Description: The Bridge Partnership is looking for a creative, enthusiastic student to join our team this summer as a Video Production intern. Applicants must enjoy working with children and be willing to immerse themselves in a fast pace environment. Applicants will be required to attend all Bridge programming and produce photos along with a final video of each session. This is your opportunity to experiment with the creative process of filming and editing video content and build your videography portfolio. We have a supportive environment with a friendly, professional work atmosphere that encourages creativity and growth. Responsibilities Produce a final video to be shown at graduation for both sessions Reside on campus for the duration of the program Capture the experience of the participants through photos, videos and interviews Attend all Bridge programming Learning Outcomes Ability to be positive role model Ability to relate to children Ability to full immerse self in Bridge experience Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Strong oral communication skills Ability to work well with others and children Experience with video editing software Experience with video recording equipment Ability to work independently Organized and detail oriented Students will have to submit examples of previous work along with a resume and cover letter.
