Teach three different classes in digital electronics. These classes cover a wide range of topics starting with microprocessor/microcontroller programming and applications. All the classes use both classroom theory and hands-on work. The instructor would teach two of the three classes each during the Fall and Spring semesters. The successful applicant needs a strong knowledge of digital number theory, Boolean algebra, logic gates, registers and flip-flops, ALUs, basic computer architecture and microprocessor/microcontroller uses and basic programming. The successful applicant should be able to use basic electronic test equipment, breadboards and chips and demonstrate appropriate safety measures.
