    ADJUNCT TEACHING RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:

    • Conduct classes
    • Evaluate student learning, skills, and abilities; and maintain records of such evaluations
    • Adhere to all policies within the Oklahoma City University Faculty Handbook
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Varies with position.  All adjunct positions require a minimum of a Masters degree in field.  For specific questions, please contact the Department Chair.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    The work requirements for this position include teaching during daytime and some evening hours depending upon the needs of the department and its students.  All classes are held in the Meinders School of Business building on the OCU campus.

    • Excellent attendance and safety record
    • Must be able to communicate in oral/written form of English

    KNOWLEDGE:

    • Basic knowledge of Sanitation procedures

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
    • Must be able to lift approximately 60 lbs without limitations
    • Able to work rotating shifts, if necessary
    • Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays
    • Able to work in a refrigerated environment
