    We are looking to add a Full Time RN who is a team player to our PreOp/Pacu department. We need someone who has good energy, enjoys customer service and performs well with minimal supervision. If this is you, we would encourage you to come visit with us.

    Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.     JOB SUMMARY

    The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

    Experienced in supporting in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

     QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state of Florida
    • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
    • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN AN AMBULATORY SURGICAL CENTER STRONGLY PREFERRED
    • Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
    • Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
    • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
    • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

    • Minimum two years previous OR experience

    • Current Florida license as a Registered Nurse

    • Current in CPR, ACLS and PALS

    • Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.

    • Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.

    • Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse. *

  • Qualifications

    PRESCHOOL SUBSTITUTE TEACHER REQUIRED SKILLS & EDUCATION:

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Childhood Development Associate (CDA) or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred
    • Previous experience as a Preschool Teacher Assistant or Caregiver preferred
    • High level of flexibility and willingness to work all shifts
    • Must be at least 18 years old
