    Our Product Management team is seeking a Business Analyst to support the strategic plan for SilkRoad products and assist the Product Managers in identifying application’s functional requirements and ensuring they are successfully implemented. The Business Analyst will have an opportunity to provide an authoritative source of knowledge about the business and shape development of new features of SilkRoad products.

     Your contributions to SilkRoad will include:

    • Working directly with Product Managers to ensure strategic objectives are known.
    • Supporting the Product Management team in sales effort by providing technical sales support, interfacing with clients directly to demonstrate the benefits of SilkRoad products.
    • Documenting business requirements, review technical specifications and test cases.
    • Working with Support, Implementation, Development and QA to achieve defined strategic objectives and assist with problem resolution.
    • Analyzing existing features and identify areas for improvement.
    • Preparing accurate and detailed requirement and functional specification documents.
    • Reviewing technical specifications prepared by Development to ensure functional requirements are met.
    • Reviewing test cases prepared by Quality Assurance to ensure use cases are accounted for.
    • Working with Support, Training, and Services groups to provide guidance and information about product functionality.
    • Assisting support units in resolving post deployment technical issues surrounding application behavior.

     

    Required Skills

    • Ability to define, analyze, and document complex business processes.
    • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to present solutions to both internal teams and customers.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem resolution abilities.
    • Works well independently or within a group and can easily collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g, Development, Product Management, QA, Implementation Services, Support, Training).
    • Ability to relate to and effectively work with clients and prospects.
    • Ability to present and champion product changes to engineering, product management, and supporting teams to achieve approval of proposed changes.
    • Proficient with computer software and MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Human Resources or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience preferred.
    • 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst/Product Management role OR a minimum of 2 years of direct SilkRoad product experience.
    • Talent Management industry and/or software experience is strongly preferred.
    • Experience with globalization requirements for software is preferred.
