    Do you want to teach bright, motivated Counseling students and supervise them within a technologically-advanced clinical facility?

    The Psychology Department at Cameron University seeks to hire a Part-time Temporary Instructor to teach two graduate level courses in the fall and spring semesters, supervise practicum students at the Cameron Psychology Clinic one day a week from 3:00 – 6:00pm, hold five office hours each week, and attend monthly faculty meetings. The graduate level courses will focus on preparing MSBS: Counseling Track students to succeed as LPCs (e.g., Counseling Theories, Individual Counseling, Crisis Intervention, Career Counseling and Lifestyle Development, Introduction to Counseling Profession) or MSBS core classes (e.g., Advanced Psychology of Personality, Psychopathology).

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    LPC and LPC Supervisor in the state of Oklahoma and Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellence in teaching in a graduate program and have experience supervising LPC students.

     

    SALARY RANGE: 

    $20,000 Annually.

    • Ability to read literature, books, reviews, scientific or technical journals, abstracts, financial reports, and/or legal documents.
