  • Responsibilities

    Provide support and assistance to Mortgage Loan Processors as they assist customers with loan applications. Comply with Bank Secrecy Act rules, regulations and training requirements, and other regulations as warranted for position. 

    • Request and review file documentation, including income/employment verifications, bank statements or verifications of deposit, property valuations, etc.; ensure documentation has been uploaded into the paperless file system
    • Completes validation of qualified persons as directed by processing staff.
    • Requests and obtains updated insurance policies reflecting sufficient information as directed by processing staff.
    • Ensure appropriate data has been keyed and is maintained within the electronic system.
    • Communicate with Loan Processor(s) regarding the documentation needed to process the loan; maintain effective follow up to ensure receipt of needed documents.
    • Assist loan processor in gathering information to clear underwriting conditions and to help resolve investor stipulations.
    • Respond to inquiries and follow up with key individuals promptly to resolve problems.
    • Covers phone calls and customer needs as necessary.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    • Communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely, and to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Read complex written materials and documents.
    • Follow directions from management, verbally or in writing.
    • General knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. 
    • Ability to lift 5-lbs. 
    • Work in a fast paced environment
    • Effectively communicate both orally and written
    • Prioritize daily tasks and display exemplary time management skills

    Required Experience

    •  High School Diploma or equivalent required.
