    Shenandoah University’s Division of Student Affairs is accepting applications for a Campus Testing Coordinator. This is a full-time benefited position located at our Loudoun site.

    The primary purpose of this role is to serve as the lead test proctor for the Loudoun site and provide essential operational support for the building. The person in this position achieves these goals by working closely with the Director of Student Support Services and their staff, Campus Assistant Manager, and the Director of Academic Campus Services. The position reports to the Director of Student Support Services, with a dotted-line reporting to the Director of Academic Campus Services.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the daily functions of the Loudoun testing center, providing hands-on proctoring to support diverse student needs and academic integrity. Act as the lead coordinator for testing logistics, partnering with faculty and program administrators to manage campus-wide proctoring schedules.
    • Lead and initiate the support needed for the Loudoun community through strong collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
    • Prepare reports and analyze data as requested.
    • Provide attentive customer service, including but not limited to welcoming, greeting, and answering questions of constituents and guests as part of the Front Desk team.
    • Partner with main campus departments to provide student services and programming at Loudoun.
    • Manage and facilitate the Weekly Buzz Newsletter.
    • Provide back-up to the Campus Assistant Manager.
    • Follow and ensure the Loudoun Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to in collaboration with the campus assistant manager and the director of academic campus services.
    • Front-line customer service responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving as the backup to the campus assistant manager during breaks, vacation days, and any other times when the campus assistant manager is away from the campus.
    • Manage and facilitate two events a year-the annual Thanksgiving buffet and Founder’s Day in February.
    • Maintain and exhibit a professional, collaborative attitude and demeanor in all interactions with SU community constituents and visitors. The ability to collaborate with the SU community to support a shared vision is essential. Supports all SU constituents, as needed, daily and during special events.

    Administrative Tasks:

    • Supporting the Loudoun community with various office duties as needed.
    • Initiate and perform general office and administrative duties, including but not limited to answering phones, ordering supplies, creating requisitions, making copies, and other items as needed to run the administrative side of the campus efficiently, both physically and fiscally.

    • Customer Service Excellence: High-level verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students, guests, and senior leadership.

    Technical & Administrative:

    • Software Proficiency: Expert use of Microsoft Office Suite, Apple, and PC products.
    • Data Literacy: Ability to prepare reports and analyze operational data.
    • Regulatory Knowledge: Strict adherence to FERPA laws and university-specific Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Project Management: Strong initiative in managing newsletters, event logistics, and complex scheduling.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Must be able to collaborate effectively and work both as a team player and independently.
    • Must have strong initiative, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, Apple, and PC products.
    • Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Follow all FERPA laws and regulations regarding student information as outlined in our SU Staff Handbook, Loudoun SOP Manual, and other policy and procedural documents.
    • Must be able to physically move furniture and set up for events as needed.
    • Ability to lift and move 30 pounds and complete multiple daily community walk-throughs throughout the various floors of the campus. Multiple-level building work environment with access to an elevator.
    • Must be able to perform small janitorial duties (replace paper towels, toilet paper, clean up spills, trash removal, etc.).
