    • Advising/Enrollment - 14 hours ago - Apply for Job - Position Summary: Join our Advising Support Representative team today! In your role you will work with Capella learners/students making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls to and from learners/students, assisting them with course registration; providing important reminders or information; and answering common questions around Capella University policies and procedures. This role will also be responsible for connecting Learners/students to Academic Advising or other appropriate departments to help answer questions and solve issues. Advising Support Representatives are responsible for accessing, managing, and updating information in CRM and other systems. Additional tasks may include updating learner/student academic information, Academic Plans, or Academic Plan Deviations. In this role you will be responsible for providing our learners/students with excellent customer service consistent with the Capella brand. As business needs dictate, you may be trained on similar types of functions such as Enrollment Services Outbound Outreach to support teams and drive persistence efforts within the Learner Engagement Center. Qualifications - Associates degree or commensurate experience required; bachelors degree preferred - Minimum of one year of phone based customer service professional experience required - Solid computer / MS Office / email skill necessary - Experience with customer-tracking software applications and data entry preferred - Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills are required - High level of enthusiasm, drive, and determination is required in this role - Excellent communication, investigation, and listening skills - Being a voice of Capella and fostering excitement and passion for Capella and education are critical to success in this role Location Capella University Capella Tower 225 S. 6th St., 9th Floor Minneapolis, MN 55402 This is an on-site position located at Capellas downtown Minneapolis headquarters. It requires the ability to work in downtown Minneapolis and in a high-rise corporate office setting. Typical of a corporate office setting, Capellas office space: - is designed with an open work space setting and common fluorescent lighting - includes frequent co-worker interaction and corresponding noise levels - is subject to inside environmental conditions Sedentary work: - this role is mainly a sedentary role with frequent sitting and occasional walking and/or standing. - this role involves frequent usage of a telephone, PC and standard monitors. - this role has minimal lifting requirements, may require exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects Requires minimal (010 percent) business travel: - may occasionally require travel to on-site Capella events such as Commencement or off-site Capella University leadership meetings as requested and based on business needs. All travel must be pre-approved and arrangements made according to Capellas policies/procedures. Workhours: - the Universitys general office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST. Work hours and starting times may vary depending on the job and the business needs.
