    HR Coordinator Shared Services, CMUWorks Service Center Job Summary ** ** The hallmarks of the CMUWorks Service Center are in delivering services that are timely, accurate, and highly attuned to the dynamic university environment. We follow the framework of a multi-tiered support model in which Tier 1 serves as the first point of contact for initial questions and walk-in services, Tier 2 addresses more complex, advanced inquiries and provides transactional support, and Tier 3 resolves issues beyond the scope of the service center. The CMUWorks team is searching for an HR Coordinator Shared Services. This is an exciting opportunity if you thrive in an interesting and challenging work environment, and have a desire to enter the field of Human Resources. In this Tier 1 role, you will contribute to the department by providing prompt and thorough customer service in a team environment around a variety of HR related matters. _ _ Core responsibilities will include: * Serve as a first contact for basic HR related questions by promptly responding to incoming calls, customers at the front desk, and emails regarding general topics related to benefits, time-tracking, on-boarding, retirement and pay. * Assist new hires with on-boarding tasks such as I-9s, E-Verify, direct deposit, tax elections, and single-sign on for employee accounts. * Provide direction on PTO correction, general tax inquiries, foreign national information systems treaties, role change forms, employment verification, and requests for personnel files. * Diagnose and support Workday login issues, assist with granting temporary access, and directing customers to computing services when warranted.
