    _ NR584NP - Quality & Safety for Advanced Practice Nurses_

    This course examines quality management and safety principles for advanced nursing practice. Exploration of best practice techniques, policies, processes, tools, and skills will enable learners to apply evidence to engage in continuous quality improvement and advance healthcare outcomes and equity across diverse settings.

    Responsibilities:

    • Inspire students to complete their programs by providing regular, meaningful feedback about their academic performance, development and participation while encouraging them to engage fully in their education
    • Engage students in meaningful asynchronous threaded discussions at least 3 days (one day being Saturday or Sunday) per week, moderating participation, evaluating responses and rationales, and responding to questions or comments
    • Evaluate academic progress and comprehension of course content through writing assignments
    • Exhibit Chamberlain Care™ by displaying behaviors of care, respect and professionalism, creating a culture that fosters collaboration, cooperation and respect among all
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    You are encouraged to explore this opportunity if you meet these requirements:

    • MSN and DNP (or MSN and PhD in nursing) degrees are required
    • A minimum of 2 years online teaching experience is preferred; preferably at the graduate level
    • Active unencumbered compact RN nursing license (multi-state) or Florida RN nursing license preferred
    • Illinois RN license will be required prior to teaching assignment (at candidate expense)
    • Must have subject matter expertise in the course of instruction
    • Faculty must have excellent communication, motivational, and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
    • Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), WebEx/Teams (or similar platform) and Internet

    Additional Information

    Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Online:
    _In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $850/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidate’s education and experience.

    Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
