The MPH program at Chamberlain University is designed to challenge and change how students think about population groups' health. The program also prepares students to lead projects and teams implementing solutions for various public health programs and policies. The curriculum allows students to focus on specific areas of public health as they work with public health professionals. Options for study include accelerated, full-time, and part-time options or flexible online learning available 24/7 for new and existing healthcare professionals.
The Faculty are responsible for teaching courses for Chamberlain University's Masters of Public Health Program (MPH). This position involves teaching, research, and service responsibilities in biostatistics and epidemiology within the Master of Public Health (MPH) program. The Faculty will contribute to developing and delivering courses, mentor students, engage in scholarly research, and participate in service activities. The Faculty is expected to meet faculty outcomes each year as indicated in an annual Individual Performance Plan.
The department is interested in candidates with a strong research background in epidemiology, biostatics, and environmental and occupational health, including but not limited to environmental or occupational epidemiology, environmental toxicology, exposure science, intervention science, climate change and health, and environmental health disparities.
Rank is commensurate with experience and credentials. The salary is negotiable. The preferred applicant will have an earned DrPH or Ph.D. in a related public health discipline, e.g., epidemiology or biostatistics, or a related field. Preference will be given to applicants with an experience in online teaching, scholarly record, including peer-reviewed publications and national presentations, and a successful record of developing course content and teaching public/global health and additional areas of expertise at the post-professional level.

Scholarship Requirements: Demonstrates scholarship congruent with the level of rank.
Activities that would be considered as scholarship have three characteristics. Scholarship must be: 1) made public, 2) open to critical review and evaluation by knowledgeable peers and 3) accessible for exchange and use by others.
The Faculty member is required to demonstrate at least one example within one of the four following focus areas of professional development and scholarship (detailed examples of each rank are outlined in the faculty handbook for reference).
Additional Information
_In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $59,923.09 and $108,334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
