    POSITION SUMMARY: 

    The Wholesale Planner is a strategic partner to the business teams in creating and in executing successful company and wholesale account and inventory strategies. This person will collaborate with cross functional teams to develop merchandising, financial and marketing plans to drive business objectives.

     SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     ACCOUNT PLANNING

    Manage seasonal financial performance projections (OTB) and communicate in-season forecasts and recommendations to cross functional partners and senior leadership

    • Develop and quantify action plans to improve and mitigate EOS needs

    Partner in the development of comprehensive market strategies which identify opportunities related to product and to profitability.

    Analyze top line as well as store-level product data to better understand the trends of the business.

    Identify door opportunities and risks through branch and market share analysis

    Key partner in successful execution of market meetings with accounts:

    • Prepare product performance analytics and location sales analysis
    • Assortment planning guidance and analysis for proper penetrations by classification, by AUR, SKU count, etc.
    • Ensure style level forecasts support financial plans
    • Manage market budget reconciliation and weekly market order forecasts
    • Management meeting preparations as needed

    Provide department reporting including but not limited to:

    • Weekly account sales recaps

    • Weekly wholesale business performance recap

    • Weekly promotional calendar maintenance

    • Weekly market sales recap

    • Quarterly branch sales and market share reporting

    • Support partner for EOS reporting, Internal Profitability and Co-op management

     BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

    • Create scalable planning and reporting tools and train others around best practices to ensure consistency
    • Serve as functional expert on enterprise IT projects.
    • Work with IT partners to test data tools, validate data, and provide feedback for continuous improvement
    • Special projects and ad-hoc reporting as necessary
