The Manager of Podcast Production oversees all technical and production aspects for every podcast produced by WBUR, including high-profile podcasts distributed and aired nationally.  The Manager supervises engineers, producers, and sound designers working on the various WBUR podcasts to ensure the highest standards of production are maintained and exceeded.  The Manager trains and mentors the engineers and producers working in the iLab, guiding their technical work and content as well as developing concepts for implementation in new podcasts; as such, a deep understanding of podcast production with a wealth of experience is critical, while innovation and creativity are equally important in fostering groundbreaking podcasts. The Manager also works closely with sound designers to ensure the production vision is implemented accordingly. The Manager will coordinate with various departments at WBUR, such as sales and marketing, to ensure that their needs for the podcast are met in a professional manner.  Ultimately the Manager is responsible for delivering podcasts that represent the pinnacle of industry standards, with an aim to grow existing audiences for our current podcasts and attract brand new ones with podcasts being built from the ground up in our iLab. The Manager will oversee as many as six podcasts at one time, with the potential for more going forward.
