Mentors other Tutors. Minimum Requirements 1. Bachelor's degree required in related field of study (kinesiology, allied health, exercise physiology) with GPA of 3.0 or higher in the course(s) to be tutored. OR2. AA degree required in therapeutic massage field of study with GPA of 3.0 or higher in the course(s) to be tutored and current licensure as a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Maryland.3. Six (6) months full time or Twelve (12) month part time experience providing corporate training, instruction, advising, academic support services, academic skills assessment and/study skills instruction, tutoring at CCBC, non-profit tutoring programs or another accredited institution.4. Experience creating content specific instructional materials.5. Experience working with students with disabilities preferred. Class Specific Essential Duties 1. Provides one-on-one, small group and/or online instructional assistance to students.2. Plans and prepares for tutorial sessions by reviewing course materials, researching and/or creating content specific instructional materials, researching on-line resources.3. Documents time spent with each student and identifies material covered.4. Participates in orientation and Tutor training.5. Mentors, observes, and evaluates other tutors as assigned.
