Whitlock has a great opportunity available for a skilled Network Operations Specialist (NOS). The deployment of new demo and digital experiences across the 5G Lab locations will present support challenges to the teams given the lack of technical resources deployed across the footprint. This person will help develop a current and future support model to support the evolution and expansion of the Labs.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Establish and implement 5G Lab wide IT and network standards for non-corporate IT/network devices

  • Device Management - Mobile devices, laptops, desktops, tablets, headsets, cameras, OS, etc..) -
  • Virus protection
  • Information Security
    • User Permissioning & Administration (access management)
    • Access security
      • VPN Access (network layer security)
      • SSH Administration (device layer security)
      • Device access (physical access; user access “levels”)
      • 2FA
      • Firewall management

• Onsite IT/Network Support for 5G Lab

• Enterprise architecture development for IT infrastructure

• Provides day to day support for IT/network additions and modifications (Systems Support)

• Troubleshooting IT/network issues (Service Desk)

• Collaboration with programming resources supporting Concept Development

• Proactive maintenance and monitoring IT infrastructure and network (Service Delivery)

Remote IT/Network Support for other 5G Labs

• Extensions of architecture development for IT infrastructure for differing / branched needs
• Provides day to day support for IT/network additions and modifications (Systems Support)
• Troubleshooting IT/network issues (Service Desk)
• Proactive maintenance and monitoring IT infrastructure and network (Service Delivery)

Audiovisual Support Across 5G Lab Locations

• Remote troubleshooting
• Dispatch for repair/replacement services

Required Skills

• CCNA or CCNP certification preferred
• Avixa CTS certification preferred

Required Experience
