  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for an energetic, positive individual to work as a Human Resources Benefits Assistant at our company headquarters in San Luis Obispo. A Human Resources Benefits Assistant assists with implementing, executing, and administering company benefits, and performs HR-related duties to support the ongoing operations of the department.

    This is a regular full-time position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with implementation of Lindamood-Bell benefit programs.
    • Assist with routine accuracy reviews of benefit deductions, benefit invoices, and billing reconciliation.
    • Ensure all benefit plan documents are accurate and current for distribution to applicable employees.
    • Routinely execute accurate, complete, and timely employee and benefit-related updates, reports, audits, and presentations.
    • Assist in the processing of all hiring and termination paperwork.
    • Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive work environment.

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma, or equivalent required.
    • Ability to lift and move up to 15 pounds unassisted.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
    • Prior experience in the development, administration, and implementation of employee benefit programs preferred.
    • Must pass pre-employment screening and clearances.
    • Must sign Lindamood-Bell’s Confidentiality Agreement.

    Compensation:

    The hourly rate for this position is $20.50 per hour.

    PHYSIC _ AL REQUIREMENTS:_

    Work is performed in a cold environment with an average temperature of 34 degrees F. Concentrated chlorine and concealed ammonia is present. Work surfaces and floors may be wet. Employees are required to wear approved shoes and protective equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and 20 lbs. overhead as job demands. Constant standing on a concrete floor, reaching, bending, stooping, and repetitive hand movements may be required. Moving machinery, including conveyor and forklifts are in operation in the immediate area.
