    Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc. (CED) is a large and growing wholesale electrical distribution company looking for qualified candidates for its Credit Manager Training Program.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The candidate will learn the industry from the ground up while working alongside an experienced CED Credit Manager to learn all aspects of Financial Management in the electrical wholesaling industry. No prior expertise in the area is needed. Credit in CED serves our profit centers and customers by managing the credit extension and collections process. The primary role of the Credit Manager is to protect the assets of the company by minimizing risks while maximizing sales and profitability. A CED Credit Manager has a strong aptitude to analyze risk and make financial decisions in the best interests of the company. The candidate should expect to communicate with internal and external customers verbally, in writing, and in person meetings. The candidate's training will involve making collection calls, financial aspects, customer visits, understanding of construction laws, and working in a team environment with our other Credit Offices and Profit Centers.     QUALIFICATIONS:

    No prior experience is necessary. The candidate will have a strong desire to work in a sales and marketing, as well as finance environment. The candidate must be well-organized, can multi-task effectively, and have a bachelor’s degree. The candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to share concepts and ideas with both internal and external customers. Relocation at the conclusion of training is mandatory to assume responsibility of managing one of CED's credit offices.
