Due to housing constraints, we are only accepting female applicants, as we have dorm type housing. We are located 11 miles from Mt. Rushmore and 1 mile from Custer State Park in the Black Hills of South Dakota. If you enjoy the outdoors you will love the Black Hills, where the wildlife, hiking & scenery are spectacular! The Internship at Spokane Creek offers an outstanding opportunity to work in a busy, family oriented hospitality environment. We are a full-service facility with 19 cabins, 60 RV & tent sites, café, and home to The Iron Mountain Road Store. You will be trained and work in multiple areas of the business which includes office, retail sales, café, reservations, housekeeping, and grounds. Also, as part of your summer experience, you will be taught a full array of business fundamentals not covered in your college classroom. Compensation is $9.00 an hour plus housing plus one meal per day, you provide additional food. Housing is dorm style with access to kitchen and laundry facilities.
