  • Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Associate Dean of Admissions, the Director of Admissions directs the development, implementation and assessment of comprehensive admissions strategies, policies, and procedures. Responsible for the management and oversight of all aspects of dental admissions processes, systems and personnel. Plans and implements activities to recruit and retain a diverse pool of highly qualified students. Oversees, manages, and determines policies, procedures, and criteria for evaluating applications, interviewing applicants, making admission decisions and communicating with admitted applicants to encourage them to accept the admission offer and attend the program. Develops supplemental systems and databases, directs technology aspects of admissions, data integrity and quality assurance. Analyzes data and creates detailed reports, statistics, and assessment of admission efforts and metrics. Creates content for websites and other related admissions materials and events. Manages departmental fiscal activities, budget, expenditures. Oversees application fee payment systems, tracking and reconciliation; ensures accuracy in enrollment and tuition deposit processing, coordinates prematriculation student account settlement efforts.

    Required Skills

    • Relevant work experience of 5-8 years
    • Master’s Degree is required
