Camp runs Monday - Friday from the July 1 – August 16 (camp is closed July 4) from 8:30am – 4pm with a week of staff training from June 24 – June 28. We are located at 556 Columbia Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231

• Know each camper by name and group
• Know of all camper allergies and medical conditions
• Support the well-being and quality of experience of all campers
• Know each group’s daily schedule and provide additional staffing support, when needed
• Address camper behavioral and social/emotional issues with counselors
• Report directly to Assistant Director regarding camper behavioral and social/emotional issues
• Call parents regarding any issues with campers
• Oversee camper arrival and dismissal

Requirements

• Counselors must be entering their Senior year of High School (or older)
• CITs must be entering Junior year of High School
• Experience attending or working at a summer camp
• Experience working with children ages 3 – 9
• Enthusiasm and the willingness to be silly
• Hebrew fluency is a plus

Young Judaea Sprout Brooklyn Day Camp, is a Hebrew dual-language camp for children entering Pre-K through 4th grade.
