We currently have an opportunity to join our team of talented and diverse Faculty and Staff as a STUDENT ACTIVITIES SPECIALIST. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires an associate degree in education, sports management, recreation, or related field and one (1) year of related experience. A valid Florida Driver License is also required. THIS IS A FULL-TIME, NON-EXEMPT POSITION WITH AN HOURLY RATE OF $15.63 with an approximate annual amount of $32,500. WORKING HOURS: Regular work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening, night and weekend hours are required as needed, especially during special events. PLEASE NOTE: This position will be based on the Daytona campus but will serve Flagler/Palm Coast, DeLand, Deltona and New Smyrna Beach/Edgewater campuses. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The successful candidate must have the ability to perform clerical and technical tasks requiring a wide range of procedures, summarize, tabulate, and format data and information. This individual must have the ability to give information, guidance, or aid and knowledge in the operation and use of office technology, digital media and web-based applications. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and have strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills. This individual must be able to perform some physical work, such as lifting and placing items & equipment that weighs approximately 20 pounds.
