  • Responsibilities

    Working as an HR Business Partner for multiple clients, the candidate will be responsible for a broad range of HR responsibilities, including employee benefits programs, compensation, employee relations, handbooks, HR administration and compliance, including FMLA/other leaves of absence, COBRA, and HIPAA.  The candidate will be a well-organized team player with excellent communication and follow-through skills.  

    Required Skills

    • Has knowledge of and administers all benefits plans for client companies and assists employees with daily questions, benefit changes, and billing problems as needed. Facilitates annual Open Enrollment for all clients.
    • Partners with client administrators on best practices
    • Responds to all employee questions/requests
    • Assists in setup of new client companies and implementation of new benefit plans
    • Participates in the successful resolution of employee relations issues
    • Advises on and implements HR policies; provides regular compliance updates
    • Conducts new hire orientations to ensure understanding of benefit packages
    • Processes employee hires, changes, and terminations on carrier websites and in ADP/HRIS
    • Knowledgeable on all Federal and State Legislation pertaining to HR. Communicates to clients on changes/updates
    • Coordinates and manages all activities relating to FMLA, other LOA’s
    • Processes all claims related to short/long-term disability and workers’ compensation
    • Assists in the administration of Performance Evaluations for employees
    • Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by the HR Director

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; SHRM certification desired but not required
    • 5+ years of related HR experience
    • Must be proficient with ADP Workforce Now
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
    • Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
    • Solid multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a client service focus
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
