InterMetro Industries is seeking a Distribution Clerk  for our Distribution Center in Murfreesboro TN Location.  This position will be responsible for compiling and maintaining records of outbound/inbound product shipments.  The normal hours of this position are M-F, 10 am -7 p.m, with overtime available on some Saturdays. Hours may vary based on business need. International Billing and Logistics experience preferred.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Coordinates with warehouse to ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders.
2. Verifies packing lists and prepares bills of lading and other documents as required.
3. Works with customer service to resolve or expedite sales orders.
4. Confirms or determines method of shipment for sales orders, by using computer to look up, verify, print, or enter data.
5. Assists in ordering and creating purchase orders.
6. Signs drivers in and notifies warehouse employees for dock assignment.
7. Arranges outbound pick up appointments with carriers.
8. Operates office machines such as calculating, fax, copy machines, and PC.
9. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Minimum of one year relevant work experience.
3. Ability to work in a fast paced environment
4. Excellent attention to detail
5. The ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
6. International Shipping/billing/routing experience needed
