    The College of Professional Sciences (CPS) at Xavier University is seeking to hire a Director, CPS Graduate Academic Programs Recruiting. The College of Professional Sciences is comprised of a vibrant and dedicated community of learners, educators, and support staff committed to preparing individuals in education, health, and social sciences.  Our diverse college consists of graduate programs in Counseling, Criminal Justice, Education, Health Services Administration, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, and Sport Studies.

    The Director’s main responsibilities are to recruit students to grow CPS graduate enrollment; facilitate the communication and marketing of CPS graduate programs; develop relationships with organizations and universities to support student recruitment; identify new recruitment markets, opportunities, and trends; develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified and diverse applicants; development & maintain alumni relations, and support the CPS Dean and leaders in their recruitment plans and efforts.

    THE DIRECTOR WILL REPORT TO THE DEAN OF THE COLLEGE OF PROFESSIONAL SCIENCES. In addition to the CPS Dean, the Director will collaborate with the CPS Chairs and Directors, Dean of the Graduate School, Graduate Office staff, Enrollment Management, Financial Aid, and XU Marketing and Communication on behalf of CPS graduate programs.  The Director is an important team member of the College who supports and is committed to graduate education in the College of Professional Sciences. 

    This position is a salaried, fixed term position for three years.  Growth in enrollment will be charted and reviewed regularly.  If a proven track record of increased student admission and registrations is established, position will be considered for permanent addition to CPS.

     Requirements for the position include: 

    • Master’s Degree in area aligned with College of Professional Graduate disciplines
    • 3-5 years’ work experience in higher education, enrollment, or comprehensive program management & customer service required  
    • Proven record in student recruitment highly preferred
    • Exemplary interpersonal/written communication
    • Demonstrated member of a high functioning work team environment
    • Proven self-starter & commitment
    • Ability to travel and work flexible hours with some evening/weekends required
    • Demonstrated mastery of software platforms and the ability to learn quickly required; Experience with Slate, Banner, Canvas, preferred_._
