    JOB SUMMARY

    The Product Information & Digital Asset System Specialist will work in a support role for both the Product Information Manager and Digital Asset Digital Manager.  The position will require the user to become proficient in the day-to-day management of both the PIM and DAM tools.  This includes the ability to troubleshoot, test, validate, document, and maintain solutions within the PIM/DAM systems.

     

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

    • Assist in day-to-day management of PIM/DAM including data fill, product page updates, product data updates, asset intake and processing (renaming/resizing)
    • Review new product pages for visual and data quality issues such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
    • Audit existing product pages to ensure standardized asset categorization, establish consistent data definitions, and monitor overall quality of content.
    • Develop processes and drive automation around tools administration, digital asset management (DAM), product information management (PIM) and other internal applications.
    • Data entry to enrich existing DAM metadata and fill in gaps
    • Clean up of PIM Code Sets and overall data values
    • Assist in management of bug tracker, fixing or reassigning bugs as needed

    Required Skills

    • 3+ years using and implementing a PIM or DAM system
    • Bachelor’s degree required, business experience or education preferred

    Required Experience

    • General knowledge of product hierarchies, processes pertaining to product management, architecture, data quality
    • General knowledge of web image assets – filetypes, resolutions, colorspaces, etc.
    • Experience manipulating large datasets across multiple documents
    • Extensive experience working with Excel, Google Sheets and/or Smartsheets.  Expert knowledge VLOOKUP and concatenations functionality is strongly desired. 
    • Strong knowledge of DAM, PIM, CMS, and metadata taxonomy. Drupal or Enterworks Experience is a plus.
    • Must have good written and verbal communication skills and soft people skills
    • Must have MS Suite user experience.
    • Must have excellent organizational skills and a great attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
    • Previous experience with a ticketing system, QA testing experience, previous data analyst experience is a plus.
