Adjunct Faculty – Electrical Engineering (Spring 2026, in person, Zhengzhou China)
Shenandoah University (SU) is seeking applications as Adjunct Faculty in Electrical Engineering to teach two undergraduate courses for the Spring 2026 semester in person at its partner institution campus, Henan College of Transportation (HCT), in Zhengzhou, China. This position is part of the SU’s joint Electronic Information Engineering Technology program.

About the Program
Shenandoah University (SU) and Henan College of Transportation (HCT) have partnered to offer a joint Electronic Information Engineering Technology program that brings world-class U.S. education into China’s vocational training system. Delivered over three years at HCT’s East Campus in Zhengzhou, the program combines American academic rigor with China’s strengths in applied technical education. This joint program reflects a shared vision to cultivate globally competent, career-ready professionals equipped to thrive in the fast-changing field of electronic information engineering
HCT is located in Zhengzhou , the capital of Henan Province and a city celebrated for its rich history and vibrant culture. Nearby attractions include the Shaolin Temple , birthplace of Kung Fu and the shrine of martial arts; the Shang Dynasty Ruins (1600–1046 BCE), recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and scenic vistas along the Yellow River , known as China’s “Mother River.” Zhengzhou also offers abundant modern amenities, from striking skyscrapers and exciting adventure parks to museums, aquariums, and a lively nightlife, creating an appealing blend of tradition and contemporary urban energy.
