The candidate will teach the equivalent of three four-credit courses each year, including core seminars in the Action Scholars Program and Community-Based Learning (CBL) courses. Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. or the relevant terminal degree in their chosen field, together with a history of civically-engaged endeavor. Extensive experience working with community and institutional partners is required, as well as familiarity with the culture and structure of colleges and universities. Experience leading an innovative team of creative thinkers will be highly valued, as will a teaching background that includes both civically engaged experiential learning and traditional classroom forums.
