    Career Services Intern Return to Job Opportunities Job Details Level Entry Job Location Dunwoody College of Technology - Minneapolis, MN Position Type Part Time Education Level Bachelor's Salary Range Undisclosed Travel Percentage None Job Shift Day Job Category Education Description Compensation & Hours : $15/hr, 20 hours/week Duration : Start date of January 2019 continuing into the 19-20 academic year Supervisor : Rob Borchardt, Associate Director of Career Services Position Description and Responsibilities Provide career coaching to individuals and groups related to job/internship search, resume/cover letter writing, career fair preparation, and preparing for job interviews. Develop comprehensive Career Services related programming and resources for student use. Present in student classrooms and facilitate Career Services workshops across the entire student population. Assist in managing online resources (Simplicity Job Board, Big Interview, Website) Assist with all day-to-day operations of the Career Services Center. Build relationships and collaborate with faculty to create career readiness opportunities for Dunwoody students. Assist with data management and creation of institutional career services reporting. Assist with planning various on-campus recruitment events. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Be enrolled or completed a graduate degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Human Resources, or a related field. Demonstrated high levels of skills in presentations, organization, and communication A genuine interest in working in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Career Counseling, Career Services, or Human Resources. Preferred Qualifications Career development and job search preparation experience Experience with Symplicity platforms Willingness to work some shifts late afternoons into early evenings to accommodate evening students Previous experience in higher education roles Experience working with diverse groups and non-traditional college students.
