    We currently have an opportunity to join our team of talented and diverse Faculty and Staff as a COORDINATOR III.

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  This position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Services, Criminal Justice, or related field; four years of higher education/student development, project management, or related work experience. Prior experience in addressing sexual misconduct, gender-based violence, or closely related subject matter is required, as is the ability to understand and implement victim safety and confidentiality protocols.

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Grant experience preferred.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

    • Comply with requirements of DOJ/OVW grant project including but not limited to:
    • Assist in analyzing programs, statutes, federal and state guidelines that apply to grant.
    • Develop and implement all components of domestic violence related to prevention, awareness, and training
    • To engage the college community and college partners, in developing a campus climate that values and supports safety, respect and trust.
    • Develop prevention programs addressing risk and protective factors.
    • Oversee development and implementation of online training modules.
    • Perform awareness, prevention, and education trainings for all staff college-wide
    • Prepare various reports and measured outcomes as required by grant objectives and deliverables. Attend department meeting as requested
    • Attend required DOJ grant conferences, sessions and meetings.

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  The successful candidate must have strong student service skills, organizational and communication skills as well as documentation and reporting skills.  This individual is expected to meet deadlines while demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.  The successful candidate must also have experience with implementing computer systems and demonstrate organizational and leadership skills. In addition, this individual must have strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and team building skills.
