    Job Description

    The Bilingual (Spanish-English) Part-Time Early Care Provider Educator will deliver Talk With Your Baby (TWYB) training and professional development programs to early child care providers across Indiana. Ideal candidates will bring experience in early childhood education, child development, or adult learning, particularly in facilitating workshops or professional development. This role requires strong bilingual communication skills and a background that lends credibility when working with community partners.

    In collaboration with the TWYB Early Care Provider Educator Coordinator, this educator will also support the development and potential implementation of certification or college-level courses, making an advanced degree and experience teaching adult learners highly preferred. The educator will also help gather feedback and survey responses to refine curriculum and measure program impact.

    Deliver TWYB Trainings

    • Facilitate TWYB early care provider training sessions in both English and Spanish for participants across Indiana.
    • Ensure early childhood providers develop confidence and competence in delivering the TWYB curriculum.

    Curriculum Evaluation and Feedback

    • Gather, document, and analyze participant feedback and survey responses to guide ongoing curriculum refinement and assess program impact.

    Program Development and Support

    • Collaborate with the TWYB Early Care Provider Educator Coordinator to assess, improve, and support training materials.
    • Contribute to the potential development of certificate or college-level courses.

    Additional Duties

    • Design and deliver engaging, research-based professional development sessions for early childhood educators.
    • Present curriculum content clearly and accurately, ensuring alignment with current best practices and early learning standards.
    • Use data and educator input to guide strategic improvements in training content and delivery.
    • Provide virtual or on-site coaching to support successful curriculum implementation.
    • Work closely with curriculum developers, education leaders, and training staff to adapt presentations to meet diverse professional learning needs.
    • Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust facilitation methods as needed.
    • Confidently lead workshops, webinars, and conference sessions for diverse educator audiences.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert in early childhood instructional practices and adult learning strategies.
    • Communicate fluently in both English and Spanish to support inclusive and accessible training experiences.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

    Experience

    • 1–2 years of experience in early childhood education, family education, or a related field.

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Experience working with adult learners, including knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design.
    • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
    • Ability to tailor presentations based on audience demographics and feedback.
    • Familiarity with educational technology platforms and virtual training tools.
    • Must be Bilingual (Spanish-English)

    Preferred Qualifications

    Education

    • Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

    Experience

    • 5 or more years of experience in early childhood education, with a focus on professional development or educator training.
    • Demonstrated ability to present curriculum content effectively to professionals in the field.
    • Experience assessing training needs and implementing strategies to improve educator performance.

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of current research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education.
    • Proficiency with virtual facilitation tools and online learning platforms.
