    Teaching Internship Location: EBAYC - Oakland Job Code: 5180 - SUM 18 # of openings: 32 Description Summer Teaching Internship Apply online by Friday, May 4, 2018 EBAYC is seeking 32 High School students to serve as Teaching Interns at Camp Thrive!, EBAYC's summer learning programs at Lincoln, Cleveland, Bella Vista, La Esceulita, Franklin, Garfield, Manzanita Community Schools and Manzanita SEED elementary schools. Camp Thrive! provides hands-on science and health and wellness education to over 600 elementary school children at five locations. Each Teaching Intern will be paired with a young adult Team Leader to facilitate learning with a group of up to 20 children. As a Teaching Intern, you will: 1. Assist the Team Leader to prepare daily lesson plans, and facilitate learning activities with children. 2. Participate in daily program evaluation and planning sessions with fellow Interns and Team Leaders. 3. Model high standards of attendance, preparation, participation, communication, and collaboration. To be a Summer Teaching Intern, you must: 1. Have a strong interest in teaching children. 2. Able to work everyday for the entire summer program. 3. Participate in a weekly training class with your peers. Available Positions... Teaching Intern 1: # of Position: 14 Date: June 11, 2018 to July 13, 2018 Days: Monday through Friday Times: 8:00am to 4:00pm (8 hrs/day) Hourly Wage: $13.23 per hour for 40 hours per week for 6 weeks Teaching Intern 2: # of Position: 18 Date: June 11, 2018 to July 13, 2018 Days: Monday through Friday Times: 11:00am to 4:00pm (5 hrs/day) Hourly Wage: $13.23 per hour for 20 hours per week for 6 weeks To be a Summer Teaching Intern, you must... 1.
