Job Description
The Health Promotion, Practice and Innovation (HPPI) Portfolio has an opening for an unpaid Summer Intern, reporting to the Managing Project Director. The HPPI Portfolio is comprised of a wide-range of projects that seek to improve health outcomes among youth and adults in multiple sectors and across many population groups. We are seeking a summer intern to work on two projects: One project will develop a series of online courses for health care agency staff serving populations disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS. The second project will assist EDC staff in identifying newly published, methodologically sound literature that explores emerging issues in the field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
All staff are expected to communicate clearly and courteously; to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, collaborators, co-workers, field sites, and funders; and to work respectfully with EDC colleagues. All jobs require adherence to EDC policies & procedures.

The internship is UNPAID but can be used to fulfill course or program requirements. The student will receive support from EDC staff in any final reports or presentations needed to fulfill the internship course requirements.
