Boston University School of Law is seeking a part-time Lecturer to teach “Compliance in Financial Services Institutions” in either the fall or spring semester of the 2019-20 academic year. The course, which typically meets once a week for a 2-hour block, serves as a core requirement in the law school’s Concentration in Financial Services Compliance. The purpose of the course is to offer a fundamental preparation to the lawyer in a large financial institution’s compliance function; the Lecturer may adapt the content and scope to match his or her experiences and preferences. Required skills: Applicants for the position must have a JD and at least 3-5 years’ relevant practice experience. The ideal candidate will have prior teaching experience as well as practical experience as a senior legal or compliance officer within a financial services company.
