Responsibilities

BUSMs integrated first year foundational sciences curriculum is known as PrISM (Principles Integrating Science and Medicine).   The PrISM Program Coordinator will serve as a key support member for the administration of PrISM, working closely with the PrISM Course Director, leadership team, faculty and students to ensure the success of PrISM.   Primary roles of the PrISM Course Coordinator include:   Participating with faculty members in group discussions concerning the curriculum and learning objectives; managing logistical and operational aspects of all class sessions; preparing and managing course syllabus, supporting materials, and evaluations; maintaining Blackboard-Learn website; assisting with, schedule, and proctor exams; overseeing exam review sessions; and providing communication to students.   This position will undergo exciting new changes within the next year or so which will require flexibility on the part of the Program Coordinator. Required Skills Bachelor's degree required.   3-5 years of related experience - background in educational assessment/learning techniques preferred.
