    Xavier University’s Office of the President is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented operations manager to provide comprehensive operations and project management leadership, and administrative support to Xavier’s Board of Trustees. This role requires a pro-active, resourceful individual with a strong work ethic and a laser focus ability to execute. As an ambassador of the President’s office, this role requires the highest level of Presidential professional standards and a deep commitment to our Jesuit, Catholic mission.     At the direction of the Chief of Staff, this position participates in all operational activities assigned to the President’s Office; primary responsibilities include:

    • Oversight of all administrative functions (organizing, planning and logistics) for Xavier’s Board of Trustees.
    • Performs a variety of administrative, coordinative, analytical, liaison, and office coordination work to ensure optimal efficiencies and outcomes in the Office of the President.
    • Process lead for all internal and external Presidential events.
    • Curates research and intelligence briefings to support day-to-day presidential operations.
    • Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Coordinates and evaluates the flow of office work and assures that work is performed in an efficient and timely manner, with the highest standards of accuracy.
    • Continually works to grow knowledge and professional expertise in the areas of higher education, strategic operations, Greater Cincinnati community, and Catholic education.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree. Master’s Degree, preferred
    • 5+ years in Operations Management (preferably in a discipline within Higher Education), with 3+ years in progressive leadership positions
    • Certified/credential/high-level experience in project management and process management (e.g. Six Sigma)
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading abilities.
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
    • Exceptionally strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
