Elementary Grades Teacher Resident (K-3 - Education Major not required)
Residency candidate is responsible for successful completion of 14 month residency program
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university by June 2017
Be a US citizen or permanent resident
Have a cumulative 2.75 GPA from your undergraduate degree (3.0 Preferred)
Be prepared to make a four-year commitment as a full time teacher for Hamilton County Schools after the residency year

14 month graduate degree program, specifically designed for teacher residents who will be teaching in Hamilton County Schools. Includes an Master's of Arts in Teaching from Lee University, plus an embedded clinical apprenticeship with a highly effective mentor teacher. At the end of the residency year, graduates also obtain a teaching license Community of Project Inspire residents and graduates, who are committed to educational equity in Chattanooga 4 years of graduate coaching and support after the initial program
