In this position, you will work in-person at our client site, offering services both face-to-face and virtually. You will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and/or delivering health and fitness programs and services, promotions and outreach activities, providing outstanding service to members & program participants to maximize participation, outcomes and customer satisfaction. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:    

• Supervises facility; interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
• Provides individual and group exercise instruction; educates participants on proper techniques to maximize exercise safety and effectiveness.
• Leads a variety of HealthFitness and program-specific health improvement programs & promotions.
• Conducts fitness testing and assessments and advises participants of results; designs individualized programs to meet the participant’s interests, abilities and goals.
• Enrolls new participants and conducts facility, program and equipment orientations.
• Promotes program offerings and conducts outreach activities to increase participation and re-engage inactive participants.

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology or related discipline and 1+ years related experience or equivalent combination of industry certification and experience.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety and Health Institute is required.
• Industry recognized Primary Group Exercise certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM or NETA preferred but required within 2 months of hire date. 
• Personal Training industry certification from ACE, ACSM, AFAA, NSCA, NASM or NETA preferred but required within 6 months of hire date. 
• Designated professional workspace with access to tools to deliver virtual programming including WiFi and strong virtual skills. 
• Ability to learn and teach virtually and electronically (services delivered in-person from client site).
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment.
