    HR Business Partners at PATH are part of a global team of professionals who work in a coordinated effort to implement PATH's people strategy and facilitate the delivery of best HR practices. We are seeking an adaptable, solution-oriented HR Business Partner to provide hands-on organizational support for part of PATH’s Shared Services organization.

     

    The successful candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking and ability to understand organizational dynamics in an unpredictable global environment. You must be an experienced HR partner who is driven by a passion for change management, employee engagement, and global thinking. Collaboration is important at PATH; be prepared to collaborate across organizations, functions and geographies, balanced with the ability to drive forward quickly and independently as needed.

      

    The HR Business Partner will provide full HR lifecycle and general HR support for PATH-wide programs and business led initiatives. Examples include:

     

    • Develop, manage, and integrate people strategies, programs, and guidelines in support of program and organizational objectives  
    • Support and drive change management efforts both for your client and PATH
    • With HR leadership guidance, provide coaching and mentorship to the Senior Leaders
    • Work with a global team of HR colleagues to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and mitigate risk in consideration of local laws and PATH policies
    • Effectively engage, consult and collaborate with recruiting partners to meet the talent acquisition needs for the organization
    • Assist with employee lifecycle changes in partnership with central HR team members; to include onboarding, benefits, leaves, promotions, and terminations including conducting exit interviews and capturing exit data to inform business decisions
    • With the guidance from HR leadership, provide employee relations support in matters including but not limited to; coaching, conflict resolution, investigations, and performance management and partner with legal counsel when appropriate
    • Collaborate with External Affairs and Legal division and department leaders to develop and maintain a consistent talent review process and help identify opportunities for development, including stretch assignments and opportunities for performance improvement

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

     

    • A minimum of five years of HR experience, including supporting senior leaders (director or VP level). Experience must also include employee relations, compliance, and compensation
    • Experience in organizational design, training delivery and benefits  Is helpful
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Human Resources or related field
    • Demonstrated cultural agility and the desire to partner with colleagues globally
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Knowledge base around diversity, equity and inclusion and the ability to have conversations that support those goals
    • Proven effectiveness prioritizing competing demands and organizing people and information
    • Knowledge of US employment laws
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to reprioritize amid shifting priorities
    • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States

     

    PREFERRED 

     

    • Non-profit experience in a matrixed environment
    • SHRM or HRCI certification a plus
    • Experience developing and driving career pathing work

     

    REMOTE WORK:

    PATH continues to evolve to support our employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, most of PATH’s US based positions are temporarily 100% remote, within commuting distance to our PATH offices. When PATH transitions more broadly to in-person work, we will operate with a hybrid workplace model. Hybrid employees must reside within commuting distance to one of our PATH offices. PATH’s US offices are located in Seattle, WA and Washington, D.C.

     

    COVID-19 VACCINE REQUIREMENT:

    PATH has instituted a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for all employees, interns, consultants, and temporary staff based in the United States. Individuals selected for job opportunities in the United States must be fully vaccinated, and show proof of vaccination status, upon hire. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as Pfizer or Moderna, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson.     REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant, equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in a project management, operations, media, creative or account services role.
    • Must be computer literate with proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications with the ability to quickly learn new computer software applications.
    • Strong communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
    • General understanding of advertising, media, and creative workflow.
    • Experience managing and coordinating efforts across various teams/offices.
    • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and provide leadership with an accurate view of progress, risk and dependencies across programs.
    • Strong contributor and influencer to process improvement initiatives, operational excellence, standards, governance, and best practices.
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with keen ability to communicate clearly and present effectively.
    • Strong ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience.
    • Must possess a pragmatic approach to working effectively in a highly matrixed cross functional team environment with an emphasis on driving results.
    • Business minded, creative problem solver and design thinker.
    • Detail oriented with intrinsic passion toward success and high-quality deliverables.
    • Proven experience in change management with the ability to balance priorities.
    • Experience with Workfront, and Project Management tools a bonus.
