    Internships Equality Now has summer and semester internships for undergraduate, graduate and law school students in our Americas, Africa and Europe offices. Interns will receive invaluable firsthand knowledge on the human rights issues affecting women and girls around the world, legal advocacy techniques, international human rights mechanisms, and will help us to galvanize public support for gender equality campaigns. Internships typically last 8-10 weeks and hours/week vary by office. Please note that we are unable to arrange housing or visas. -TYPES: -Communications & Outreach (Nairobi - OPEN, New York - CLOSED) Conduct online research, assist with social media advocacy, track and compile press clippings, create content in support of campaigns, help respond to inquiries from members and the public, provide administrative support. Also seeking candidates interested in web development andcontent management. -Fundraising & Special Events (New York - CLOSED) Conduct development research, research partnership opportunities, provide event and administrative support -Research & Campaign (London - CLOSED, Nairobi - OPEN, New York - OPEN) law students preferred Conduct legal and fact-finding research and assist program officers in drafting Actions and campaign correspondence; attend meetings and participate in other advocacy efforts Internships are unpaid. -HOW TO APPLY: Interested applicants should send an e-mail to the appropriate office email address below, specifying the internship type and semester or summer in the subject line. Eligible applicants should be fluent in French and English, have the ability to carry out English-French/French-English translations, and possess basic skills in HTML, Dreamweaver, Drupal, and Salsa if possible.
