    We are seeking to hire an ANTENNA DESIGN ENGINEER to join our collaborative, high growth organization located at our office based in Lane Cove, Sydney, Australia. The Antenna Design Engineer will impact the organization by creating robust antenna solutions according to specification in a timely fashion. 

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Conceptualizing and prototyping antenna solutions for new projects.
    • Designing Low-Gain PCB antennas Omni/Directional.
    • Designing Mid/High-Gain Directional antennas.
    • Working with 3D EM simulation tools such as CST (advantage), HFSS or FEKO
    • Prepare proposals including design concepts, costing, writing sections and making presentations to management.
    • Work cross disciplinary with hardware and mechanical engineers, industrial designers and production teams.
    • Volume manufacturing of antenna systems.

     

     QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    •  Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering (RF/Electromagnetics) or Physics. Graduate degree desired.
    • 7+ to 10 years of experience in antenna design for consumer electronics or RF microwave industries.
    • Familiar with regulatory requirements (FCC, CE, etc.)
    • Familiar with RF lab equipment for antenna characterization as well as system performance validation, such as TRP and TIS.
    • Familiar with antenna measurement techniques and tools such as anechoic chamber, near field EM measurements, etc.
    • Experience with the development of phased array antenna systems (mmWave).
    • Knowledge of wireless communication systems such as 5G/LTE/UMTS/CDMA/GSM, 802.11, BT, GPS, etc.
    • Ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible individual with an attention to detail who is willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
