Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• This person will be responsible for Core Platform Services and Flywire’s Personalization Engine - a set of ML algorithms that score and classify patients for our applications to use - and all data products, features, and services.

• This person’s mission will be to scale our current use of data within the product, to identify new uses, and to create a compelling vision where data is powering significant, measurable results for Flywire and our customers.

• This person will work closely with Data Science, Engineering, and other stakeholders.  They will be the glue between the business vision and our data technology.

• This person will perform the usual Product Manager activities:

  • Create, manage, and refine your roadmap and backlog

  • Define user stories, lead sprint planning, and backlog grooming

  • Define and measure product KPIs.  Identify trends and craft product improvements in response

  • Commercialize your products by collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Marketing

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

• 5+ years of Product Manager experience 

• Technical expertise - comfort working with TensorFlow, Big Data, MySQL Redshift, ETL processes, and Data Warehousing.

• Previous experience managing data product(s) end-to-end

• Effective storyteller, both verbal and written

• Excel in fast-changing, dynamic, and demanding environment

• Doer mentality, excited to dig into the important details and drive to conclusion with development and data science

• Focuses on the 10x vs. the 10% ideas

• A plus:

  • Experience with healthcare and finance industry

  • Computer science degree
