Job Description

We, at Flywire, are looking for a Strategic Finance Intern to support our Strategic Finance team in Boston, Massachusetts! The main focus of the Strategic Finance Intern’s work will be on special projects and research tasks for the Corporate Development and Business Operations teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform business analyses and build cases around potential investment opportunities for Flywire’s strategic growth initiatives
• Initiate, develop, and present on new market research, new customer segments, and partnership opportunities
• Working across functions to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance
• Work collaboratively with other interns and the business on a summer-long project

Qualifications

FLYMATE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Working toward/completed an Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• GPA for courses related to major at or above 3.3
• Strong data analysis, data modeling, slide writing and presentation skills
• Experience in conducting and presenting research assignments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Natural curiosity and commitment to problem solving
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Hardworking and a self-starter
• Ability to work approximately 40 hours/week
• Fluency in English (required); other languages are a plus
