This is a 40-hour-per-week, one-year internship which is renewable for an additional year based on performance. Hourly rate $10.33 with limited benefits included. Description of Ongoing/New Duties Serve as a primary media contact (3-5 sports) in an Athletic Communications Office which supports and promotes 21 varsity sports (10 men/11 women). Duties include, but are not limited to, writing press releases, assisting with production of media guides and game programs, in-game statistics, game-day media set-up, and maintaining the FSU Athletics web site. Also assist with development of a student workforce to help with statistics on game-day along with scoreboard and other in-game operations. Help with promotion of student-athletes, coaches, and teams through social media Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Other related duties as assigned by the Athletic Communications Director. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree and one year of experience working in an athletic communications office or related area. Experience with StatCrew, InDesign, Photoshop, and/or Premiere Pro. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree and/or two years of related work experience. Advanced writing and editing skills.
