  • Responsibilities

    The Grant Manager independently manages a portfolio of grants. Reconciles grant accounts and financial reports in alignment with sponsor guidelines. Provides regular budget updates to Principal Investigator(s). Processes expense adjustments to ensure proper posting and avoid over expenditures. The Grant Manager will assist the Central Research Administration (CRA) team in DOM with special projects such as facilitate DOM research awards, establishing policies within the dept, assisting with developing training tools for grant managers, offer grant management coverage to DoM sections as needed, etc. The Grant Manager maintains updated knowledge of federal and non-federal grant policies and procedures. They continue to learn institutional guidelines to stay abreast of changes that may impact grant awards. They work collaboratively with BU/BMC Central Research Offices to ensure compliance.

    Required Skills

    Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of related experience required.
