    Teaching opportunities may be available for Face-to-Face classes at all Daytona State Campuses and/or full On-Line classes.

    Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of a master degree in English or master’s degree in English or a master's degree and 18 graduate level semester hours in English from accredited college or university. Teaching experience preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully taught online courses.

    **Essential Functions/Duties:
    **

    • Teach courses in accordance with college and departmental policies and procedures, as well as Master Course Descriptions.
    • Prepare and submit timely grade reports and other reports on student performance as may be scheduled or required.
    • Organize class activities and assignments, relating them to the overall student learning outcomes of the course.
    • Provide input and work with other faculty and staff to review, produce and/ or select course-related materials.

    **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    **

    • Extensive knowledge of the subject area(s) in which the individual is responsible for instruction.
    • Knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of effective communication and of effective instruction.
    • Knowledge and understanding of the characteristics and challenges of community college students.
    • Knowledge and understanding of principles of curriculum development.
    • Computer literate and able to navigate in a Windows environment.

  • Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, Business management or equivalent work experience in a related field required

    7+ years’ Systems Analysis or Consulting experience required

    7+ years’ ERP systems experience, including setting up and configuring a discrete manufacturing system, required

    5+ years’ Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or D365 F&O experience preferred, including:

    Proficiency at understanding the manufacturing workflow with the ability to translate to advanced warehouse configuration

    Possesses advanced knowledge of creating, processing, and managing production batch orders

    Ability to learn and work with a high volume of ISV’s

    Possesses advanced knowledge in creating, managing, and processing sales quotations, sales orders, purchase orders and transfer orders

    Ability to identify use cases for Power Platform apps including Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate

    • 2+ years of Metals industry experience preferred
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, at all levels including customers, vendors, peers, business stakeholders and management required.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products required
    • Proficiency with some collaboration tools like SharePoint and Box
    • Capable of learning new systems and creating/implementing new system functionality
    • Possesses advanced knowledge of HTML and XML
    • Understands advanced internet and client/server architectures
    • Possess advanced knowledge of SQL and databases
    • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
    • Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
