  • Responsibilities
    • Individually contributes, formulates and guides solutions to problems of exceptional difficulty and marked importance to the company.
    • Generally recognized as a leader in the field.
    • Responsible for project management and design and execution of new or replacement pipeline projects, from conceptual phase through commissioning.
    • Responsibilities include: business development, front end studies, cost estimates, preliminary evaluations, prepare various reports, produce design drawings, prepare technical specifications and prepare/manage permit submittals for transmission pipeline projects in the oil and gas industry.
    • Conduct routing and conceptual studies, review contractor technical submittals and provide or supervise technical oversight of field installation.
    • We are looking for an individual who can start and build a service line for McKim & Creed. The individual will be provided support from all of the other engineering disciplines and geomatics personnel.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • Bachelors of Science in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering or other relevant ABET accredited degree.
    • PA PE or ability to acquire PA PE quickly. 
    • Proven track record of project performance and 15 years of experience in gas pipeline design and construction.
    • Experience with pipeline permitting (FERC experience a plus)
    • Candidate should have good people skills, be a good communicator, both written and oral, have good business sense and fairly high levels of persuasiveness and social skills when dealing with clients.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

    •  Master's degree in one of several related degrees listed below.
    • Also allowed, a Master's degree in any field, plus 18 graduate credits in one of the related degrees listed below.

     

    RELATED DEGREE:  Communication, Communication & Rhetoric, Communication Studies, Human Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Mass Communication, Organizational Communication, Public Communication, Speech Communication, or Journalism.
